Dhruvi Shah is a professional dancer and choreographer from Mumbai with big dreams. She started dancing at the age of four and trained in various dance forms such as Bharatanatyam, Contemporary, Jazz any many more. After completing her Arangetram, Dhruvi went on to take professional training from Shiamak Davar. Then later joined his company as an instructor getting opportunities to perform in Bollywood Shows and Award Functions.

Social Media Journey

Dhruvi also freelanced for a while and worked in music videos and films to gain experience and did some intensive training at the Broadway Dance Centre (New York). All of it made her realize how much Dhruvi loved having her passion as a profession, so Dhruvi took it up full time and started her own Dance classes and Wedding Choreography business. Wanting to make the world her stage, Dhruvi launched a YouTube channel known as ‘Dhruvi Shah Dance‘ which is now having over 1,70,000+ subscribers and millions of views. Her biggest goal in life is to spread happiness through dancing to as many as she can.

When Dhruv started creating content ?

I started creating content back in 2017, it was my childhood dream to become a YouTuber.

How is Dhruvi experience of being a popular social media creator ?

It's truly amazing to have found an audience that loves and appreciates my work! Social media has been a boon to me and my business and I'm so grateful to everybody who's supported me throughout my creator's journey. Honestly can't imagine what my life would be if I hadn't put up my work online.

Which is Dhruvi own favourite video?

I made a video of Raabta song in 2017, it was the first video in which I stepped out of my comfort zone and the first one to become popular. I have many more favourites, but my Raabta dance cover is too special to be replaced..

Does Dhruvi having any plan to launch her studio, where fans can learn with her ?

Yes of course, I do take dance classes in Mumbai and online ones too! Eventually I plan to have my own space where I can teach and conduct rehearsals etc. rehearsals etc

How is Dhruvi 's fan reaction when they see her?

Due to the pandemic, we barely happen to step out and with the mask it's not possible to get recognized.. But yes, it's happened a few times that somebody recognized me and asked me am I "Dhruvi Shah Dance" I can't wait for things to get back to normal, so I can meet more of my followers.

How was Dhruvi 's reaction when she crossed 100k subscribers?

Hitting the 100k mark was always my dream! The journey has been a memorable one, there were many ups and downs, in fact, there were times when I felt like giving up, but I didn’t! Overall, it’s made me grow so much as a dancer and so honestly, I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way! I’m so grateful for all the love. When I look at my silver button I just feel so amazing, cannot express it in words. Says Dhruvi
